EATON OIL TOOLS, INC. maintains a complete line of abandonment equipment, including casing cutters, casing spears, stabilizers, marine swivels, and other miscellaneous tools used for the abandonment of wells from platform removals with crane setups, to both floating and stationary drilling rigs.
	Casing Cutters: Our unique hydraulic transmission system applies smooth constant pressure, via a one piece piston assembly, to the three knives, thereby assuring clean, rapid cuts. Free movement of the knives to either extended or closed position is assured. The positive cleaning action of the knife recesses is accomplished by the unique design configuration of our tools, supplemented by the continuous washing action of fluids forced through the tool. Each knife is dressed with the finest grade crushed tungsten carbide available. Our Multi-string casing cutters are available in a variety, of O.D. sizes, ranging from 5 3/4" O.D. to 12" O.D.* Each cutters arms can be changed easily to cut a wide range of casing sizes.

	Spears:Eaton utilizes both a straight pull ITCO type spear and an universal type spear depending on the job specifications. The ITCO type spear is used to pull casing strings that have been severed and are to be laid down. It is available in a variety of O. D. sizes that when incorporated with the correct grapple can catch from 5 1/2" to 20" casing ranges. The Universal type spear assembly can also be used to pull severed casing as well. In addition, this type of spear is used to engage and back-out casings from Mud line hanger systems during a temporary plug and abandonment. This spear and grapple assembly is available to catch a range of casing sizes from 5 1/2" through 30".
Stabilizers: Eaton incorporates both a non-rotating stabilizer for casing sizes 13 3/8" through 60", and a fixed blade, welded, stabilized system for casing sizes under 13 3/8". The Non-rotating stabilizer, when used with Eaton's cutter, centralizes the cutter to ensure fast & smooth cuts of large cemented casing strings. Welded blade stabilizers are used in conjunction with our cutter on single smaller diameter casing cuts.
	Marine Swivel:The marine swivel system positions the casing cutter vertically, when making casing cuts from floating drilling vessels. The landing ring on this swivel, lands in the wellhead, supporting all downhole tools at a fixed position. Bumper Subs above the swivel eliminates vertical movements. The Mandrel of the swivel rotates freely inside the sleeve, allowing full rotation of the downhole tools. All thrust and load bearing are encapsulated in an oil bath for extended life and run times. On multiple string cuts, space out subs below the mandrel can be changed to make the drill string length constant with each knife arm change. Landing rings are available for 7" through 30" casing.
