EATON OIL TOOLS, maintains a varied line of mills and related tools. These include the many types of mills, casing scrapers, boot baskets, cross-over subs, ditch magnets, and many other items. Our mills are dressed with the finest cutting grade "Kutrite" composite tungsten carbide materials.

BLADED MILLS: Bladed mills are the basic tough tools used to dress off and mill all types of drilling materials-bit cones, bridge plugs, packers, downhole tools and/or pipe. Stabilizer lugs are available for cased hole applications, to prevent casing damage. These mills, when designed for cement milling, have fewer blades and larger flow passage areas to prevent clogging.

CONCAVE MILLS:Are designed for milling up lost bit cones. Sometimes referred to as conebuster mills. Their design helps to center the lost cone on the mill, thereby increasing milling. The center of this mill is dressed with multiple layers of carbide, allowing for longer run times and fewer trips.

PILOT MILLS:These mills are best used for milling stuck tubulars, such as liners, liner hangers, washpipe, rotary shoes or drill pipe. The pilot assembly maintains a centered position on the tubular, while the milling blades mill the product away.

STRING MILLS:This mill is designed to clean out casing and whipstock windows. Their short leading and trailing angles, allow the mill to clean "bird nest" and other obstructions in the string, while the bottom hole tool is milling. This string mill assures that the milled section maintains full gage.

TAPER MILLS:Taper mill can quickly ream through a variety of restrictions. The sprial blades and long slow tapers, allow this mill to effectively ream out collapsed casing, liners, or the cleaning out of casing or whipstock windows.
WATERMELON MILLS:This mill is normally run just above a taper mill. It will continue to open up the restriction encountered by a taper mill. Watermelon mills are used very successfully in opening up casing windows, made by whipstock jobs.

BOOT BASKETS:These are designed to enable large heavier milled particles to be caught in the basket, as opposed to moving these particles to the surface. In sections of the wellbore, where mud velocity decreases, or pumps are shut down, these heavier pieces fall into the basket, thus reducing time in the hole due to the "re-milling" of these particles.

CASING SCRAPERS: These scrapers were engineered to eliminate all screws, bolts and blocks, which may work loose in the hole. This scraper consists of three parts; the body, which holds the spring loaded blades; the upper sub and the lower sub. The blades are held in place by the two subs, and are staggered to give full 360 degree coverage. Casing scrapers are excellent for removing mud, mill scale, rust, cement, and paraffin from the inside wall of casing.
HOLE OPENERS:These are used to open the diameter of smaller drilled holes. Our hole openers are economical as additional cutters can be changed while the body is still in the drill string, without special equipment. Cutters are available in a variety of types and bearing surfaces. The bodies are also available with box down connection, for running with a drill bit or with a bullnose (for better control in directional holes).
